Welcome to Park Advanced Functional Textile Research Lab!

​

Our ultimate goal is to advance textiles' boundaries toward innovative applications including soft robotics, sensors and actuators, filtration, and protective gears. To achieve our goal, we work to understand surface and macroscopic level of interactions between water and textiles; how to utilize the most abundant natural resource -microorganisms- to develop technical textiles.

저희 연구실의 궁극적인 목표는 소프트 로봇, 센서 및 액츄에이터, 여과 및 보호 장비를 포함한 혁신적인 응용 분야로 의류소재의 적용영역을 넓히는 것입니다. 이 목표를 달성하기 위해서 물과 의류소재 사이의 표면 및 거시적 수준을 상호작용을 이해하기 위해 노력합니다. 또한 가장 풍부한 천연자원인 미생물을 활용하여 기능성 섬유를 친환경적인 방법으로 개발 및 응용하는 연구도 진행하고 있습니다.
